Brody McGhehey is an Associate in the Capital Markets team at Phoenix Energy, bringing several years of experience in the financial industry. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting Analytics and a Bachelor’s in Finance. Before joining Phoenix, he worked at Fidelity Investments in roles focused on managed account solutions, relationship management, and business development. While working at Fidelity, Brody contributed to large-scale projects with respect to the implementation of certain SECURE Act 2.0 provisions. He is also licensed with the Series 7, 66, 9, and 10. 

Originally from Bayfield, CO, Brody lives with his wife Marisa and their two cats, Lilo and Stitch. Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor sports like golf, volleyball, spikeball, skiing, and spending time with friends outdoors. Xavier J. Font is an Associate in the Capital Markets department, bringing extensive experience in the finance industry and 6.5 years of service in the U.S. Army (Active/Reserve). He holds a Finance undergraduate degree, military training, and Series 7 and 63 licenses. Xavier has held key roles, including Retail Account Manager at T. Rowe Price, Advanced Broker/Corporate Action and Trade Specialist at Charles Schwab, and Global Treasury Implementation Analyst at U.S. Bank.

With expertise in finance and investments, fraud investigations, and retirement planning, Xavier is passionate about helping clients diversify their portfolios. Originally from both San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Houston, Texas, he comes from a family deeply rooted in finance and business. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar and piano. His career goals include completing the CFA designation, earning a master’s degree, and advancing to VP, all while helping Phoenix grow capital to its fullest potential.

He is known for driving revenue growth, leading high-performing teams, and expanding commercial banking portfolios across China and the Asia-Pacific region.

Originally from Dalian, Liaoning, China, Franklin is happily married with two children. Outside of work, he enjoys guitar, reading, weightlifting, and sharing his love of cooking with his family. Ash Magrans is an Associate in the Capital Markets department with over 25 years of experience in finance, specializing in deal origination, underwriting, capital structuring, and investor relations. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the prestigious CFA designation, along with multiple securities and insurance licenses. 

A key contributor during the 2009 financial crisis, Ash played a pivotal role in liquidity management. He is passionate about building meaningful client relationships and guiding investment strategies with precision and insight.

Originally from Toronto, Canada, Ash is a devoted father of two boys, a global professional artist, and an avid sports enthusiast who enjoys golf, soccer, and coaching youth teams.

Originally from LaPlata, Maryland, he earned his degree from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and brings several years of industry experience to the team. Before joining Phoenix, Alex worked in sales and commodities, where he developed a strong foundation in client relations and investment services. He holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses and is skilled in sales strategy, market analysis, and commodity trading.

Outside of work, Alex is a proud husband and father of two young boys. He enjoys dancing, boating, beach activities, and spending quality time with his family. One of his proudest personal achievements is being an actively involved dad.

Before transitioning to finance, Jake had a successful career in the wine and spirits industry, working in retail management, distribution, and wine production. Originally from Syosset, New York, Jake enjoys golf, traveling, and the New York Knicks. Marty Lile is the Sr. Vice President of Capital Markets at Phoenix Energy, bringing over 30 years of experience in raising private capital. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Kentucky. Specializing in raising capital for Independent Oil and Gas Developers, Marty has supported technology ventures and real estate projects and successfully run his own firm, M.R. Cox Oil and Gas Development, from 2005 to 2010.

Marty’s key skills include building client relationships, negotiations, and business development. Originally from Glasgow, KY, he is married to Christi Lacey Lile, and together, they have 6 adult children. Outside of work, he enjoys going to church, hunting, fishing, football, rodeo, and playing guitar. He is also a proud singer/songwriter in the country music genre.

Adam Dohler, Sr. Vice President of Capital Markets, brings two decades of extensive experience in Capital Markets. He holds an MBA in Investments from the University of Notre Dame, a BA in Finance from Florida State University, a Series 7, and has earned CFA Level I. His career includes significant roles on a NYC Sales and Trading desk, such as Director of High Yield Trading at Morgan Stanley, Nomura, and Royal Bank of Canada. Adam is skilled in analyzing and hedging risks, with experience trading and investing in high-yield bonds across various sectors, including Oil & Gas. He has worked closely with corporations, bringing various bond offerings to market. He enjoys building loyal relationships with investors by maximizing investment performance while growing bond expertise and knowledge.

Currently residing in Palm Beach County, Adam enjoys the Florida life with his wife and three young children. The bulk of his free time is spent coaching his sons’ Little League baseball teams and passionately supporting FSU and Notre Dame Football.  He’s also caught an MLB game at 27 different stadiums.
