Alex Garbero is a Jr. Software Engineer in the Technology Department at Phoenix Energy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and brings a diverse background to his role, having previously worked as a personal shopper for Whole Foods/Amazon, a printed circuit board designer, and a bartender in Little Italy.

With expertise in VueJS, JavaScript, MongoDB, and Cloudflare, Alex thrives on creativity and enjoys developing innovative solutions. One of his key achievements includes leveraging SQLite functionality from Cloudflare to enhance data restoration in the Phoenix Energy ARK platform, improving efficiency and delivering real-time user updates.

A San Diego native, Alex comes from a family of Argentinian immigrants and is fluent in Spanish. Outside of work, he is passionate about photography, gaming, fitness, music, and travel. Since 2021, he has successfully operated a photography and videography business, specializing in car photography.

At Phoenix Energy, Alex is dedicated to building efficient systems and driving technological advancements. He strives to be a valuable team member, contributing innovative ideas and solutions to support the company’s growth and success.

Jordan Silva is a Jr. Software Engineer in the Technology Department. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has a background in DevOps and cybersecurity. With strong skills in programming, problem-solving, and collaboration, he thrives on tackling complex challenges and improving digital experiences. Notably, he developed an object detection and tracking system using Python’s OpenCV library to track small objects in motion.

Originally from Bakersfield, CA, Jordan grew up in a family of six, learning the values of hard work and integrity from his parents. Outside of work, he enjoys building and painting Warhammer 40k models, playing video games, and competing in trading card games like Magic: The Gathering.

Jordan aims to master his current programming languages while expanding his expertise in cybersecurity. At Phoenix Energy, he is committed to optimizing the company’s digital platforms and developing innovative features to enhance usability and efficiency.
