David Youngquist is the Manager of Data Architecture & Analytics at Phoenix Operating, with extensive experience in upstream oil and gas. He holds a degree in Economics and Political Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver and has built his career at the intersection of data, technology, and energy.

Before joining Phoenix, David worked across departments including Corporate Reserves, Drilling/Completions, Business Development, and IT, and led data initiatives at a tech startup in Boulder. There, he managed a team of analysts and engineers and helped secure $29MM in Series A funding and a $160MM DOE grant.

A Colorado native, David lives in Lakewood with his wife, Lindsey, their newborn son, and two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors and is a former college football conference champion.

Kyle Beam is the Corporate Reserves Manager at Phoenix Operating, bringing over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and is a licensed Professional Petroleum Engineer in the State of Colorado.

Kyle’s career has spanned a wide range of responsibilities—from on-site drilling in the DJ Basin to managing reserves across the Williston, DJ, and Powder River Basins for various companies. He also played a key role in raising a $600 million commitment to grow a non-operated company. His experience working with ownership in thousands of non-operated assets has fine-tuned his skill set in data management and engineering workflow efficiencies. As Phoenix Energy continues to grow, Kyle is committed to elevating investor confidence by supporting Phoenix Energy’s accurate, consistent, and supportable reserve reports.

Kyle and his Wife are raising twin boys in Golden, CO. Outside of work, he is passionate about traveling and enjoys outdoor adventures like golfing and snowboarding.

Hailing from Powell, Wyoming, Robynn is married with three children. She enjoys music and is an avid outdoor enthusiast. A valuable lesson she has learned in her career is, “Get comfortable being uncomfortable and challenge yourself.” At Phoenix, she aspires to aid in finding efficiency solutions and grow with the company.

Originally from Houston, Texas, Mihka finds joy in traveling, reading, and engaging in outdoor activities like cycling, skiing, hiking, fishing, and camping. Tom has had a long and fulfilling career, serving in various capacities, including Account Manager, Director of Training, Sales Manager, and Project Manager in the residential and commercial construction industries. He has also worked as Director of Media Production, Pastor on Call, Web Developer, and IT Administrator in Christian ministry. Additionally, he served as a Communications Specialist, managing and operating an award-winning information clearinghouse and online portal for the U.S. Department of Energy at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory and National Center for Appropriate Technology.

As a Minerals Leasing and Acquisitions Manager with Phoenix Energy, Tom brings extensive sales, marketing, and customer service experience, along with a deep desire to serve others. He has trained and mentored staff and co-workers for more than three decades and still finds great joy in witnessing the growth of individuals through coaching and training.

Tom earned a B.S. in Professional and Technical Communications from Montana College of Mineral Science and Technology (a.k.a. Montana Tech) in 1982. Since then, he has led and participated in multi-disciplinary teams that educated hundreds of clients on the nuances of the insurance storm claim process, disseminated information, and provided technical assistance to thousands of people for implementing energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies.

Tom and his wife, Lisa, have been happily married and have two amazing children. Now, he enjoys spending time playing with their three beautiful grandchildren.
