]]> With over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, Marc Barella brings a deep technical and operational background to his role as VP of Asset Development at Phoenix Operating. He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an MBA.  His career has spanned multiple U.S. basins, working across disciplines including completions, production, geology, and reservoir engineering. Most recently, Marc led his own consulting group, providing technical and operational advice on modern completion strategies.

Marc is known for aligning capital and operational planning with financial goals, overseeing daily operations, and developing high-performing teams. One of his career achievements includes building and operating small gas plants with NGL extraction capabilities.

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Marc now lives with his family in the foothills of Golden, Colorado. Outside of work, he is an avid snowboarder, mountain biker, and climber—and has snowboarded from the summit of all 58 Colorado 14’ers.

Marc thrives on continuous learning and brings a solutions-oriented mindset to every challenge. He looks forward to fostering a culture of innovation and contributing to projects that drive capital efficiency and long-term value.
